So I upgraded to the 1gbps package an hour ago... And my internet has been down since then. Got in contact with support and they informed me that my old package and current package is clashing and that they can't cancel the old package on their end. I have to wait until midnight before the issue will resolve itself... @PBCool @TheRoDent anything that can be done before then?

@PBCool @TheRoDent the issues on vumatel trench internationally seems to have cleared up now but please don't be silent on this matter and update us as to what caused the unusable internet and massive packetloss dumps for hours on end earlier. I am certain you guys were working on something or handling some sort of issue I would just appreciate to remain responsive and explaining what happened.

This is what I am dealing with right now. Vuma Aerial 100/100.
Turns out they migrated me off of decent hardware and put me on ****. My line is congested.

WinMTR to 154.0.13.95 showing no losses...

Neverending it seems with ZERO feedback for some reason after hours of reporting these ongoing issues today.

It is all broken yet again. I cant operate like this, if this continues tomorrow I would be forced to change to another ISP something is seriously broken on CISP and the lack of any response from CISP all of a sudden is not a good sign to me even though I have vocally supported CISP none stop in here for their response but its hard to be supportive when being ignore for a whole day amidst serious issues.

I see CISP following in style of other ISPs and basically providing no feedback, it was only a matter of time.

Im hoping it was just a bad day for them but if this is what we can start to expect I will be very disappointed. This **** is just ongoing all day , if there is no response here about the wreck of a day I will be switching my ISP today this is now feeling totally pointless.

Tech support lied. It's still down...

Packet loss nonsense still going on.... Wel that was expected as Octotel support was sleeping all night...

Not just Octotel, Vumatel customers reporting this issue too. I reported the start of this last week, and it has only deteriorated further since then. Now here we are..

I can only speak for Octotel, been having issues since August last year.

Hmm. My single threaded can almost match your multi-threaded result to London! (CPT Vumatel trenched)

Edit: I had torrents running, stopped it and now single threaded can max my line from London :sneaky:

View attachment 637698

This is all I can get, Vuma Trenched, Brackenfell, Cape Town, 200/200

EDIT: Roelf "TheRodent" was debugging my line all of yesterday, and he waiting now on Vumatell for feedback.

Do a test, turn your CPE and router off for 5min.
Then turn your CPE on, and let it connect.
Turn on your Router.
Now test if your local and international is broken, most noticeably on international.
Do a MTR to your Gateway IP. See if there is packetloss.

Finally test again after 30 mins to 1 hour and suddenly by miracle all is working again.

And the packet loss is back. No feedback here, no notices on network status.
