Is there a problem somewhere tonight? Streaming international almost impossible. Restarted router but not helping. First time in weeks that there is a problem again.
How is your experience on frogfoot with CISP? My parents area is launching on FF and I was thinking of putting them on CISP. Are you in CT?
Are you seeing this every evening?I noticed some peak time packet loss on the first hop on Friday till last night, we may be on the same overloaded link. I created a ticket so they can investigate.View attachment 653410
If it's not on our announcement page then there isn't anything we have been made aware of.@PBCool

Do you think it will be completed before month end? You can apologize for it taking so long, I am still being billed over a thousand rand a month for your service. How long is waiting enough? Over two months?
Do your competitors have the same issue? No? Do you even have a time frame that you've assigned to this issue? Why is this the first I hear about this issue after complaining about throughput for over a month?

thanks, perhaps best to give CI a miss for FF then.My experience initially was pretty horrid, sub-10mbps throughput internationally, until Frogfoot decided to at least double check their end and found an issue that they fixed - smooth sailing from there.
Unfortunately, as you can see in this thread, my current experience isn't the same as others here on Frogfoot (even in my area) so your milage may vary.

This has been an ongoing issue with OS for a while now, we have escalated it to executive level. I will see what I can do from my side.I ordered the 10/5 uncapped on Openserve a week ago, but according to CISP call centre the "Openserve portal is down" so they haven't been able to place my order with Openserve. Which is a problem for me as my ADSL has now been switched off (yes the Telkom cancellation process actually worked perfectly). So although this is probably an Openserve issue, I'm not too impressed with my first CISP interactions. My feel is they must sort this out with Openserve, not just keep telling me every day that the portal is still down.

You are welcome to buy an extension from us and use your own VOIP handsets.Dissapointed with Cool Ideas for the first time
Thought I'd add VOIP to my package but seems the R85/m is per cordless handset, so I can't get a single base-station and then 2 or 3 cordless handsets linked to a single line, apparently each is seperate. I mean for R1.5k I can get a set of 3 panasonic cordless phones which all link to a single Telkom line and I don't need to pay extra but CISP voip I would need to pay R1700 for the main handset, R850 for each extra, and then R85/m per handset (i.e. R255).
Guys, surely there is a better way, is there no way to get a 3 or 4 phone set that works on the same VOIP "line"
