EDIT: Look at all the duplicate out of order packets on the international iperf, is this normal?

But I'm noticing now streaming twitch is very patchy despite having more than enough throughput to pull the stream. Like it will just not work for 10min then work flawlessly for 30min then go back to not working. This happens with or without the proxy.
 
Check your error log for rejected connections, I have had a problem where using the maximum was slower than using the maximum minus one.

No rejected connections. Also tried lowering it to 40, 45, 50 - same story. I'm on tweaknews, and AFAIK they haven't changed any of their packages nor limited overall speed. This is something that's changed recently somewhere else.

International still has a bit of packet loss, using the proxy still resolves the issue for the most part

My line is not the happiest this week so I am seeing 0.2% packet loss on MTR all the way to Tweaknews, but sometimes it seems that packet loss and standard deviation on the last hop at Tweaknews is a bit worse than the other hops. This might also be a case of a slightly overloaded network on their side (our high latency will cause lower bandwidth than users in Europe if their network is straining). I guess you can try a trial account at another usenet provider and see how that works, apart from that, I dunno. I also tried running an iperf test to Amsterdam ping-ams1.online.net port 5207 which looked a bit wacky, but I am not sure if that is relevant.
 
Thanks. When will I be able to get an ETA for this to be resolved? If this is going to take 3 more months I need to look at alternatives right away.
Got an email this morning that the order has been placed with Openserve - thanks. 2-3 weeks estimated installation turnaround time.

You will more than likely find you will get a call for them to do the install 2-3 days after that message. Installation is handled by contractors, so they tend to be on the ball so they can get more installations done and get paid more.
At least that has been my experience. Only time there will be a delay is if they have to dig, but most of the time OpenServe just runs it on poles.

I thought openserve was trenched. Is it not only Vumatel that puts it Aerial?

Opened a ticket with a simple question on a new sign up on 3 May @ 9:03AM (COOL-20190503-260992) and still sitting as "Open" - so sad how the support staff are letting CISP down; not everyone knows about the mybb forum. I've submitted the same question to 4 other Fibre ISP's and all of them responded within a matter of hours, even again after follow up questions.

Personally not changing from CISP as my connection is treating me well but if I was a new customer I'd be put off.

cant remember your linespeed but lets assume its 100mb, then with 1 thread youre getting 33% linespeed, so 5 threads will be enough.
