Hi guys

I've been tasked with finding a national IT hardware distributor for our future expansion requirement and thought I would toss it out here for some advice.

We already use Frontosa, but I was wondering if there were any other recommended national distributors for corporate IT hardware that you guys would recommend.

Although I've heard Rectron is full of ***. Sahara is decent. The others I have no idea.
 
I've had no hassles in the past with Rectron except, ofcourse, their decision to cut alot of products from their line. I heard on these forums that they're focusing more on their corporate/server stuff these days.

Pinnacle should be able to help out as well.

Try Axiz as well, but they now have a requirement of R10K/month of purchases/sales or they suspend the account and it costs R1K to reactive when you need. The R1K is refunded when you go over the R10K again.

But, in terms of corporate hardware, do you mean for a once-off outfitting of the office or an ongoing regularly purchase scheme?
 
It would be for outfitting the new office and for future purchases as well. We are looking to grow quite aggresively and would ideally want to stick to a know vendor to partner for the future.
 
I would personally recommend Pinnacle. They also deliver free of charge if the order is over R1500 which I think is a major plus.
 
I would go with Dell, call their JHB offices and speak to someone there.

Their prices are decent and their after sales support is the best out there.

Really i bought from axiz for the first time this year last week and my account was fine.
 
I have had the best and most efficient service from rectron havnt had to to any warranty's for a while but memmory and hdd's were pretty much while you wait. Everywhere else you need to book it in which costs u an extra trip... Every where else service has been fine.
