Shame, somebody is in the wrong forum! Maybe you should race over to Zoo***.com if you really know the SA racing scene and go brag over there. Over here we talk sense and this forum is for grown ups! I think you are a inconsiderate, child-like, klein mannetjie sindroom, GAY ( LOL ) backyard mechanic and with that you probably think you can bliksem everyone that steps on you little "racing" toes! :eek::eek::eek:

Aren't any race tracks?!?!?

Seriously, Kyalami on Mondays and Saturdays, Zwartkops on Wednesdays and some Sundays with road silenced cars, Midvaal any day (just phone), Lichtenburg. All these tracks are no more than 200kms from Jo'burg!

There is a drag strip @ Brits called OBI. Knock yourself out.

Your not gonna upset me You guys are way to old to ever understand...You don't have a passion for cars or speed...You don't appreciate the pure acceleration of a Rs4 or a Mustang Gt500...and that's ok...your probably passionate about something else!!

Way too old, im 19yo.

Pure acceleration, i drive a 1600 Formula Ford, 0-100 in 4 secs, love every second of it, even if it can only do 220km/h.

Seriously - even though the guy seems a twat, not a good idea to "wish something like this upon anyone", seriously follow your own advice - think TWICE before saying **** like that ?
 
I am saddened by this guy's attitude.

He can go to a race track where it is controlled and there are usually emergency personnel on standby, rather than trying uncontrolled and unplanned racing in some quiet street and risking a serious accident.

Have you ever heard of Murphy's Law? One of these days Murphy will decide to stick his finger into your "careful" planning and mess things up seriously - and you'll be extremely lucky to get a long jail term and not land in the cemetery.

Oh, and if you happen to wipe out my family, I am going to sue you to hell and back again.

Errrr... advanced drivers won't speed - at all - they'll stick to the rules of the road, and only speed on a racing track or other facility where it is safe to do so.

I tend to drive within the speed limit as I get older :) see no need to drive fast just to be on time anymore :D

Errr if I had a Advanced Drivers licence I would still do 140.
Most of them do cause they think they know what they doing...
getting an advanced licence is a very popular corporate gift... anyone can get it and speed...

I have a racing license, nevermind an advanced drivers licence, and i never drive faster than 120 (GPS speed) lol, about 130km/h on the highway. Ive seen what happens to people who THINK that they can drive. . .

Most people with the adv licence are as fortunate as you to race competitively, the Highway is their only thrill...
 
With people like this guy on the roads, no wonder there is so much carnage. Little boys with their toys. So sad.
 
If you want a thrill, bring your/daddy's road silenced car to Zwartkops Raceway this Sunday, pay your R200, and enjoy safe racing, if/when you crash, you will only be hurting the tire barriers. :cool:

Jason : There is speeding, and then there are doing reckless things like trying to get your car to 250km/h+.

Nobody here has said they don't speed, but going that fast is beyond reckless, its willfully endangering the lives of innocent people.

I never do. Got one fine in 20 years of driving - and I still feel stupid and bad for not concentrating - and it has made me a better driver for it.

i will definitly be there on Sunday, my friend will be testing a new prototype, the Neo 300, 0-100 in <3secs.

I AGREE!!! They say it has been "upgraded", pft. It sucks when a slow truck is driving infront of you, overtaking is not the easiest of tasks there. :mad:
