Creating DVD advice. NTSC or PAL

Maybe a stupid question but I'm creating a DVD from footage from my video camera and some other media using Nero 8 and the following popped up:

Your project contains more NTSC than PAL material, but will be encoded in PAL if you use the current settings.

Please advise which one to use.

I usually go for the PAL setting, reason being SA uses the PAL system according to http://www.kropla.com/tv.htm

Yup, your camera would've recorded it in PAL (25 frames per second) but the other stuff you using would've been sourced from the US in NTSC (29.97 fps), so let Nero convert that to PAL

and PAL is supposed to be slightly better than NTSC in terms of colour reproduction... but it really depends on your source material.
