It's been a 1124 days since India last won a Test overseas, It has been 28 years since India last won a Test at Lord's. The wait is over, and the main who starred on the final day is the man Indian fans have ridiculed for years - Ishant Sharma. He leads the triumphant team off the field.

England have had some horror days over the past year, but that hour after tea has to rank somewhere near the bottom. Why on earth did they not leave a few short balls?

Tea: What a turnaround! Pakistan - mostly Younis (the superhero) - scored 81 runs in the session. There were a few nervous moments with a couple of appeals being reviewed, but apart from that, Younis counterattacked brilliantly to thwart the spinners. He used the sweep shot smartly. Misbah played his part well too, holding one end and tiring out the bowlers.

Cannot answer this, but to their credit they keep their top players involved in top cricket throughout the year. Our guys could do with a little more time in the middle.

Herath to Misbah-ul-Haq, OUT, what a ripper! This is tossed up, pitched on the middle and Misbah was looking to drive it to off, but it turns sharply to catch the outside edge en route to the wicket keeper. Just when Abhishek Purohit was saying how good Misbah is as a player of spin, one of the best in the world along with Sanga (I hope he mentions it in his report).. He falls to a spinner..

Mathews to Younis Khan, 1 run, century no. 24! He goes past the great Javed Miandad, gets on level with Mohammad Yousuf, one behind Inzaman, who leads the list for Pakistan. Whips it to midwicket and scampers through. He has been a class apart. Superb innings under pressure

5.59 pm The light meters are out.. and the players are walking away as it's too dark. A complete turnaround of a day for Pakistan, all fashioned by superlative century from Younis Khan with useful support from his captain and Asad Shafiq. The picture had looked quite grim for the visitors when they were 59 for 3 at lunch, but since then, they have scored 81 and 121 runs in the next two sessions to redeem the captain's decision to bat first. The ball generated enough movement in the morning session but the conditions eased out during the next two sessions. However, the morning session will be mighty important tomorrow as Pakistan haven't really broken away from the safe limit. They would want to stretch it close to 400 tomorrow. SL would want to get YK somehow.. and hope for a lower order capitulation.

Younis Khan marathon is over at 177, he skipped down the crease but wasn't quite near the pitch, stretches forward to reach for the ball, ends up chipping a tame shot towards midwicket, Vithanage dives forward there and collects a low chance, it's been a rough Test for Perera so far but he has now got the big one
