Cricket: International Discussion Thread

Dunno how happy Australia will feel if they're batting an hour before the close 300+ behind in these conditions.

Bowling a team out on day 1 and it still being a 50/50 game situation is pretty weird.

In other news, Windies flying along in the first ODI against India. Asked to bat first and are 100/7. India has their work cut out chasing this down...

For a Change?

Weather conditions completely favored Auz the previous test match, one could say it even helped them retain the Ashes.
Suppose that's why Michael Vaughn refers to Stokes' weather remote. You have to be on the field to take advantage. If you cock it up so badly, knowing there's rain coming, you only have yourself to blame.

Now this is proper cricket...when you can go make some coffee and warm up your lunch and when you get back, the score hasn't changed.

Kepler's got a tear in his eye.

:D

Test cricket. Protect your wicket and make runs when conditions allow for it.

Australia just can't cement the position when they have the chance. Intent on giving England the upper hand.

England could have a small lead when this is done. Good for the balance of the game.
