Cricket: International Discussion Thread

Enjoying the cricket - pity both teams can't lose (Want Australia to lose because they're Aus, want India to lose to puncture their fans' inflated opinion of their team that only win at home). Oh well.

But ultimately it's the Aus you want to see suffer. The top dogs have all retired and all you have left is bits and pieces, yet they're still on top.

Unacceptable.

If the pitch is as bad as what we got when we went there, that first innings total looks very good. Let's see if Australia can follow-up with the ball.

The Indians need to be taken down a notch.

O'Keefe takes 3 in an over to bring India down to 95/6 - what an over!!

A 120 or 130 lead here is going to be gold. As usual, another farce of a test wicket in India. Just glad to see it back firing on them for a change...

Despite my earlier reluctance to support either team... enjoying seeing the Indians suffer at home like this!

Australia lead by 221 runs with 7 wickets remaining

Tasty

Indians have to bat last against spinners that destroyed them in the first innings...every over Aus makes them field now is mental wear and tear.

In related news, how big is this Renshaw kid? 12 year old face in a giant's body.

He's also pretty decent...old school style of player. Bit like Elgar.

J Yadav to Renshaw, FOUR, another drop! Runs just leaking away, catches being put down. Four more. Flat delivery outside off, Renshaw gets low, connects with his reverse sweep, but the top edge was going straight to Rahane at first slip. Instead Vijay, at second slip, sticks his right hand out and parries the ball to the boundary

Fascinating what a little pressure can do, isn't it?
