That's the thing about cricket - we have supposed records - but there is no standard ground size.

Same with golf. What's your point? We can't have records for sports where the playing field changes?

You have records for the field. Like in golf.

Stats like "Australia has the record for the highest chase in T20" shouldn't really matter when it was achieved on a bowling green

Golf is predominantly an individual sport, and not country Vs country.

Doesn't every other major team sport have some of standard for grounds?
