Bairstow or Buttler should be given a license to see if a quick fire 70 or 80 could get them close. Otherwise I can't see this being anything but a draw.

EDIT: Of course, this is taking into account that the England batsmen can actually hold a bat... :rolleyes:

Makes me sad to think about how easily this England team bossed us at home last summer (excluding the first test where they all had food poisoning).

I think we've grown since then but you are right, this england team is very average at the moment.

As well as India played today, England getting bowled out in under 2 sessions on a pitch that was doing nothing for seam or spin is disgraceful. That top order needs a rethink and Stokes is being missed badly.

Great couple of test matches though with the WI game.
