CRICKET: Nashua Cape Cobras supporters thread!

I just got a PM from a certain someone who told me that because of the Lionel Ritchie concert, the Newlands pitch was practically destroyed.

And not 30 minutes later, I hear the same thing on 5fm!

I wonder why the hell the grounds people didn't cover up the pitch! ARG!!!!!!! :mad:

Hi guys,

I've been told that I can run a competition for the facebook group of the Nashua Cape Cobras.

Basically, I'm going to ask a bunch of questions, the people who get the most right answers can win tickets to newlands / boland park (I think for a YEAR)

There will be 2x prizes.

So bleak I can't make it, have to go to a bloody Christmas party tomorrow as my cousins are going on a skiing holiday on the 15th. Grrr... will have to wait until the 21st to see the Cobras back in action.

What are you trying to imply? :D...yes there are few ou ballies in the members area, but there is a still large (enough) contingent of 'young' people. ;)
 
I'm implying, you guys sit there and drink and just smile at each other.

On the grass, we all get involved with each other - the atmosphere is awesome!

I've been in the members stands a few times, I always left it for the grass area ;)
 
There is another competition running.
