CRICKET: Nashua Cape Cobras supporters thread!

The MTN semifinal between the Nashua Titans and the Nashua Cape Cobras was washed out without a ball bowled in Centurion on Sunday.

Monday has been set aside as a reserve day for the match, which will decide who plays the Chevrolet Warriors in Wednesday's final.

Persistent rain has confirmed the Nashua Titans as MTN Domestic Championship finalists after their semifinal against the Nashua Cape Cobras was abandoned without a ball bowled at SuperSport Park on Monday.

Two days of rain put paid to the Cobras' hopes with the Titans going on to meet the Chevrolet Warriors in Wednesday's final by virtue of finishing on top of the log.

The final will also take place at SuperSport Park, but the weather needs to improve rapidly and hugely if that match is also not to end as a muddy disappointment.

We are outta the Championship :(
Oh well, next year we'll bring it back home!
 
This is absolute BS. HTF can they let the Titans win because they did well in other rounds? That's a load of fckng BS. How well they did in the prior rounds has no bearing on this knockout round.

It's semi finals! It's big stuff here, sponsors pour money into these teams and what, they set aside only "one" extra day?

If it was normal games, I'd say, yes, have 1 day, but for semi finals and even a final, I'd say, play till the game is won, or change the venue!

But it's not like anything we say can make a difference, I've said it before and I'll say it again, we've been screwed !
