CRICKET SA vs England

They are not allowed to change any of the "conditions of play" once the game has started.

Lets just believe we will win this game.

Like stopping and asking for the site-screen to be moved? Of course you can - you can request it at least.

And these fscking English are now appealing and screaming for absolutely everything - its worse than watching a bakers mini-cricket game...

DJK - it is an egbaston issue that seems to be peculiar to flintoff. but i read somewhere (can't remember where now) that it's not the first time something like this has happened at egbaston. so i say its status must be stripped if they do not change this.

Are these fscking commentators stupid? It has nothing to do with the bowler. It has to do with the type of ball being bowled, and Flintoff was the one taking advantage of this. Is it such a reach of their mental capacity to consider this?

Agree with you there! They are so biased it is not even funny. Everything about SA's cause is a joke to them. Look how they made "fun" of andre nel with their "3rd man" angle. Then there was the effects microphone being moved, they went on about how the "crane operator" above the stadium is in danger of being asked to move. Childish..

well, to be fair, you cant move the sightscreen up, cant make it higher. What you can do is put a white sheet over those windows. But they did ask the umpires and they said no.

that was a bit silly from sir ian botham, but he has always been a t1t. and a big one.

I think tactically Smith and Arthur may have missed a trick here. Considering the sight screen issues and late afternoon ailing light should Ashwell not come in after Mckenzie and then AB. What I'm getting at is left handers should be batting out there as the issue doesn't seem to affect them as badly as it does the right handers. In fact perhaps we should have opened with Prince and Smith... Just a thought...

agree with you sand. they have not handled the issue well after the fact.

Time to watch Province vs The Lions. :D

I'll check the cricket again later. :(

while i am watching my beloved pool in a pre-season game against rangers i am following on cricinfo. the "commentators" on cricinfo are class

Smith's standing there like a rock, a chewing-gum chewing rock, just like the iron-hard Alex Ferguson. He has a determined chin, if that makes sense, and I mean that as compliment

Must say, thumbs up to Smith for the way he has been handling all the $hits thats been going on so far. Must take a lot to stay calm under those conditions.

Flintoff just bowled a shocker to AB and didn't even apologise!
