CRICKET SA vs England

lol

I actually wish they'd phase out the old colonial 5 day stuff to be honest. There isn't enough time in the 21st century for people to sit around sipping tea and watch men in white block countless overs. :p

I strongly disagree with that statement!!!!!!!!:confused:

Test cricket is far more than just blocking. ;)

mmm, that sux, Botha never touched that ball, did not even come close to in fact. When its not your day its not your day.

This game on at the moment is prime example why limited over cricket should not be all there is in cricket. The result is already decided and only 20 overs in the match - yay.

I would be saying the same thing if England were 50/7

true. same reason I dont find the current situation 'sickening' as previous posters. Yes, I am disappointed and all of that. And would hate to lose the series against Eng, especially to KP. But the day after the series I'll be over it.

If we lost the test series though, I would still be gutted.

While I agree the game is all but over I do recall a certain ODI against Australia not so long ago where the game was deemed to be over after OZ posted a record score of 433 in 50 overs.... Any one recall the outcome of that contest?!!!:D It's highly unlightly but not impossible for SA to win this game...

Having said that the team is looking decidedly under prepared once again. One wonders how the coach/players have been earning their considerable salaries since the last defeat...

There must be a series butt kicking of the whole team. To loose to England eish, criminal.

Ah great - Ntini is bowling! England should put us out of our pain pretty quickly in that case...

Oh yes, you mentioned that earlier... Does it not effect your productivity? You have a bar fridge stocked up with castle in your office too?:D

the fridge is down the hallway :D mostly Heineken and Windhoek though.

productivity... off course yes, but as long as everything gets done, everyone is happy. Also helps that the bossman is a big sports man. Play hard and work hard and all that.

Looks like all the English Cricket players might still get a round of golf in before it gets dark.
