Go for R4000 cards I can send you bat file to mine with cast xmr which will give you good hashrate. You will have to flash bios on cards for best best performance.
 
At the current rate about $318 p/m but I must say I get free electricity so its all profit

Second that, I'm running cast xmr with one click bios mod, and overclock....

The cards are from evetech tho and by the threads I can tell they not the best for warranty. But just to check, if I flash bios does that not kill the warranty so really no need to stress about where I get the cards from?

Secondly what will electricity costs be roughly on 4/5 cards a month. Want to see it if worth the upgrade.

It does void warranty, but they can't see bios of a dead card. For other issues just flash back original bios, always make backup of original bios.

4/5 cards around R800 a month.

Going to look around if I can find same deal elsewhere - if not will just go with evetech then I suppose and hope never have to do a return.

So the 4GB cards are OK then - don’t need the 8GB then.

See if you can get gigabyte cards. Mine are from evetech but are gigabyte, which is supported by rectron. Had one card die due to my own stupidity (Shorted the riser on a rivet on the mining frame) and rectron replaced the card.

Not sure what I was talking about but the evetech ones are MSI 570’s 8GB for R5k. Can get 4GB 570 MSI from Rebeltech for R4200.

Wootware have Gigabyte 570 4GB for R4466 each.

Any others I should be considering?
 
Any other cards should be looking at as I want to order today to hopefully get delivery tomorrow / Monday.

Also does it matter if all cards are not the same? Their a guy selling 580’s brand new but 3 are one brand and the other 2 a another brand.

Any suggestions welcome.

Won't matter if they not the same. If they used they will probably be flashed which saves you time.

3x Gigabyte Aorus RX580 8GB
2x ASUS Strix RX580 8GB

They still have 2 year warranty and brand new.

Can then also get Gigabyte RX570 4GB from Wootware for R4466 each.

Also MSI Radeon RX570 Gaming X 4GB from Rebeltech at R4231 but only have 3 in stock.

Any suggestions maybe?
 
Get that 3 msi cards from rebeltech, it is really good price for the gaming-x models!
Then get asus cards for 5k each.

There is good chance that the msi gaming-x has very fast memory, then they will almost run at the same speed as the 8gb card.

OK will order the 3 in the meantime then.

What about the Sapphire RX580 8GB Nitro cards? Seems I can get these for R4395 ex VAT.

Or rather stick with the MSI cards?

Ok perfect.

Have placed order, just waiting for them to confirm before I make payment.

Now just need to find another 2 cards Incase the guy selling for R5k doesn’t respond / doesn’t have them anymore.
