Cryptocurrency Mining

That was just to see if the binary actually ran. I did see mention somewhere about people needing additional runtime libraries installed.

I've been using claymore up till now. I really like the remote console option. Can connect to it from my tablet and check temps and hash rates, so not sure if I want to trade that for ethminer yet, but will give it a go at some stage.

more hash > remote

stating the obvious I know, I'm just not sure if this new version of ethminer is as good as they say... I have 1060's so definitely going to give it a try later this afternoon

I suppose this has been asked plenty but is ETH mining still viable? And with what hardware

What would you say the best setup is or is it too late to enter now. looking at BTC difficulty rise does not allow me to invest in it because it will never ROO
I would get 1060 or 1070 , they good for more than 1 coin. It's not to late ATM , but roi is quite a bit slower ATM.

Say I would take 20k and invest in purely cards. When would you think ROi will be reached if price stays constant

That would get around 4xgtx 1060 6gb. Can't work out roi atm as calculator on website does not work from the mobile. Not sure how much these cards make ATM.

1 x 1060 makes around about 1,267.18 ZAR a month according to Nicehash.

This excludes Electricity costs.

Cool. What does your figure look like and how has it deteriorated over the last 6 months ?

I'm running 6 x 1060's on Claymore

I've also only just started recently, so I can't really say how it's deteriorated. I can give you hash values and whatnot if you would like though

edit: also running a single 1070

Where all the stock is.

My profits (GTX 970) halved since starting a week ago. Getting $2/day at 270Sols/s (was $3) and PC electricity estimated at $1/day (never measured).

I would realistically estimate the GTX 1060 and most cards to have paid for themselves in 10 months minimum at today's rate. The Nicehash figures don't match the listed wattage.

so i am super keen to get started ,have most of the parts but i am stuck waiting for the Rx5XX cards.
I been thinking maybe i should get started with nvidia.

I found this card:
SC-G1070WF Gigabyte GV-N1070WF2oC-8GD

is this a good card? will it produce 28 dagger hash?
