Cryptocurrency Mining

This seller looks super dodgy.. Be carefull

?? How so? Looks like a pretty straight forward ad? Besides, if you insist on Shepherd, you will quickly tell if they are legit or not. If they try to dodge selling with Shepherd, then alarm bells should be ringing.

How do you pickup on that ? :erm:

No phone number, or "real" location (city centre is vague)
Photos look like something out of a review, ie they don't provide proof that he has them. edit: like the photos on the different ads are on a different desk...
Could probably find a lot more wrong

No, you'll need to manually change back to your preferred server

I noticed that it had accepted from both pools at one point. Perhaps when one pool is busy, it visits #2 to optimize mining. Prohashing server seems to have issues from time to time.

Add to that R3500 for 1070s... definitely fishy.

Thanks! If it starts mining on the second pool (or third), does it resume on the first when connectivity is restored? Just curious (if you know).

Dunno. Claymore goes back to the main server when it's back from what I've seen. How it's implemented on your l3+ I don't know.

No 1. The price.
2. New user
3. No number
4. Using images from eBay and whatnot

Nvm, ignore the Image part. I’d be careful though. Price is far to low

New to this thread, know nothing about mining.
I have a spare PC which I don't use for anything. It has a 3.2 GHz i7 CPU, 8 GB RAM, no dedicated GPU yet, 256 GB SSD, 2 TB HDD, running Win10 pro.
I know BTC mining with a PC like this is out of the question at this stage, but are there other coins worth mining with a machine like this even if I have to spend some money on a half decent GPU?

Things change quickly as coins become more difficult to mine. But look at the Nicehash calculator to see the sort of returns to expect from different GPUs

You don't need very much other than the graphics cards - you can use celeron CPU and 4Gb RAM without issue. It's up to you whether it's worthwhile or not to run a single GPU, otherwise you should look at a 6 or more GPU motherboard, etc.

Are we going to see some cheap L3 miners on the market soon with these profits?

Was some facebook pic from crypto compare, not sure where this guy made up the crap lol

Seems it is making 89usd/day atm.

Yup yesterday it was still $90, almost gave me a heart attack, although by the time mine arrives it will probably make me sad.
