Cryptocurrency Mining

I can live with the heat... the noise though. It makes working at the office hard sometimes.
My noise is pretty decent even with 23 cards in the room. They all around 60% fan. Noise was unbearable with vega cards, they run 3500 rpm blower fans!

I need ETN to go up, need to get these rigs paid lol

At-least my final upgrade with plugs is happening in garage this weekend.

Then all my rigs will be in garage, and I can use my pc in my room without dying of heat lol

Same here, rig paid on the profits I'm still hoping to make on ETC :D

29.7%... I keep on refreshing. I can't see it drop way further than 30% so worth a gamble to buy a bit when it hits 30%. That was the target I set myself this morning.

Edit: just hit 30%, I'm buying :o

Hi guys what do you guys think of ASIC miners anyone got one ? are they worth the initial investment ?

Received the last component of my rig on Saturday (motherboard), spend most of the evening building the rig making sure all the cables were plugged in correctly (there's ALLOT). Spend most of Sunday installing Windows as I encountered an error half way through the install, checked all components, RAM, SSD etc. turned out to be a corrupt bootable flash drive... Downloaded fresh copy and Win 10 Pro installed without any issues.

Tonight I will download Claymore and do a base run without any overclocking, I did however already install the AMD blockchain drivers.

Current Setup:

GPU: 3 x Asus RX580 Dual 8gig
MOBO: Biostar TB250-BTC PRO
CPU: Skylake Pentium G4400 3.3GHz Dual Core
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX Low Profile 8GB (2 x 4G)
PSU: Corsair HX1200i Fully Modular Platinum Power Supply
SSD: WD Green 120G SSD
Extra's: Powered Risers (Version 009s), Power Button and Mining Frame

Can't windows run on a 32GB or even 16GB flash disk. They like less than R200 compared to whatever the SSD is. Assume 700+

Yes probably but went the SSD route to insure I have space for monitoring applications etc. I agree my setup is not the most cost effective, motherboard support 12 cards and I'm only planning on running 6 (currently 3), CPU is overkill and RAM could have been halved to 4 gig but it is what it is... ;)

soooo on this topic....i am running windows 10 on a 32GB M2 ssd....i know the requirement from claymore is 16GB of virtual memory but i can't get it done with windows 10 and 32GB ssd.
i think it is set to 10gb at the moment.....does anyone know if it actually affect the hashrates?
i read somewhere that it doesn't, but might in future.....

Don't think so. From what I've read, claymore's miner use to build the dag from CPU hence the need for large memory but with the latest releases its built directly in the gpu.

Awesome Miner seems to be talking s#!t. It's currently reporting $20 per card on a GTX 1070 :p

I'm having a different issue with nist5, my main pc has a 1080ti that is doing 83.273 MH/s, and making 0.57136 mBTC per day....and then another rig with 2 x 1070 doing 84.200 MH/s, but its only making 0.46782 mBTC per day....how the F is that possible???

That is possible. You're mining for different contracts, that is if you're mining on Nicehash. Are you?

Edit. What ccminer are you using that do those numbers?
