Well, it is Singapore, so minimum 321ms from CT, 343ms from Jo'burg, TCP scaling will play a large role there. (based off of https://wondernetwork.com/pings)

I'm getting a full 7.6Mbps for downloads to London, Durban is probably impacted greatly by the Seacom outage. Where is CW rerouting through?

Traceroutes would help in diagnosing all this, but maybe talk to support first. My parent's have been complaining about Netflix (local)/Plex (EU) streams so I've put them on a Vox 400GB account and it seems fixed so it's definitely an IS/CW issue.

Even with my WebAfrica unshapped prepaid account I am seeing the same results. All over the place latency in D3 and speeds that are near to useless for downloading. So either IS has a issue or the exchange that was mentioned has a issue.

you'll see the problems vanish on an mweb or AH account ..... my traceroutes and winmtr's are night and day between IS and anything else

With AH I can play D3 without any issues. Speed test are not getting full line speed like I used to with CW but they are rock solid at 280. This is definitely a problem with IS and not the Exchange at New Germany as far as I am concerned. For Waylander tracert to the D3 servers:

To compare latency, about 33ms increase for each of your hops compared to mine is what it should be at, so your overall latency is fine.

Thats what I thought when I ran my tracert using CW but man is D3 laggy on CW. My latency to Vienna is 204ms FYI. Oh well I will wait until CW gets back to me...

Just want to say I'm not angry with CW in any way. Right now I am just very curious as to what is going on. So I have used a program called PingPlotter Pro and according to the results I am seeing to both D3 Europe servers CW is the better option with AH meant to be horrendous. Gaming wise, evening LoL EuW is about 165-190ms for me, streaming is fine but I don't really watch twitch. My torrents haven't been shaped in the evening (not sure if this might change due to the Seacom issue, they have a provision for it, but when there are no network issues I have not experienced shaping). I've been using them for near two months now, on the 10Mbps 150GB package.
Smite is about 185-190ms latency to Europe. Don't really game locally, so can't comment on that.

Maybe an issue with the rerouting (switches are probably experiencing a lot more traffic than usual), as my normal path is WACS and I don't have issues.
Hope CW resolves it soon and informs what the issue is, it's interesting.

Yup. NNTP crawling. Local steam downloads only going at 20% of my line speed.

My pings to EU servers for gaming the last two days have been horrible. It all started yesterday. Use to get EU West pings of 152. Now those data servers are giving me 220ms.

Something has gone wrong somewhere in the chain. Switching out accounts and it's good to go on AH.

Something is screwy here.
