Crystal Web DSL performance feedback thread Part 4...

Ping has been pathetic for 6 weeks now in the evenings. On OS fibre and a XTTH capped account.

Perfect on VoX.

Just 3 more days of this rubbish service. And support is pathetic mind you. Each time it is ad if it's a brand new issue being logged.

No one follows up. No one gets back to you. For anything other than gaming this is a great service. If you like gaming however...pass.

Anyone having Netflix issues? Been having endless buffering issues for the past few weeks. Internet also feels sluggish at night and each time I contact support my wifi gets blamed

Time to move on. But where to?

Considering where this website originated from I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm moving to Hellkom.
 
Earlier this week, I had support help me with a speed issue. I could resolve everything when switching to a newly created test account given to me, but eventually resetting the routers and doing it over gave me the same speeds.

I'd put more energy into figuring it out, but... nah. Not enough benefit for the time I'll spend on it.
 
My upload speed crashed just now. Basically ruined not just my evening but some family's too as I was helping them out with a movie to watch. Can't get more than 10Mbps (briefly) on any upload service - Google Drive (which normally gets 50Mbps) can't do more than 3Mbps right now. This is with a zipped file with a nonsense name so no chance of copyright shenanigans.

No one but me is using the network according to my Ubiquiti system, and I've tried clearing browser data, using a different browser and rebooting my PC.

We're done CW. Submitting cancellation on Monday.
 
Did anyone else just lose connectivity? Everything down for me, and seems to be the line. I swear to God if CW f**ked up my cancellation I'm going to lose my mind.
 
Looks like major adsl outage. Can confirm parts of PE and CT down. Most isps, Telkom mobile also...
