News is also a good 75% faster than previously.Performance seems pretty awesome today. Can't speak for online gaming or downloading (as everything has already been downloaded) but some Steam patches came through at high speeds. Streaming and browsing seems quick.
I told our support agent on duty to let you have the account for 4 minutes and 52 secondsDJ/Paul, may I try a test account for literally 5 minutes? I'm happy with my current ISP, but I cant watch twitch streams. If I am able to watch twich then I'll move over next month.
I totally agree, however some sort of time frame would be nice so that planning can be done. As said its expensive to do CW + backup cap. Sadly I see D3 is still all over the place, I'd guess then ESO would be the same. Back to cap for now![]()
Afrihost free gig running at 220ms, just to eliminate any other factor. Of which I have a little over 200mb left. I had to sign up with another ISP free gig, but I am running out of options! What will CW be doing when I can no longer use other ISPs to get my gaming fix?
As previously posted, we have a contingency which we will implement tomorrow if latencies don't get better. You will be sorted. Speeds are starting to resolve themselves.
But we will ensure that you have a decent connection if things aren't resolved by tomorrow.

What's the situation on shaping of torrents and NNTP? I'm getting nothing down on CW with torrents at the moment and NNTP is doing 30KB/s or so. I'd like to get my Mikrotik queues sorted but that's difficult without actual bandwidth to test on.
I would not mind trying Crystal Web. How does one apply for an account? I filled in my email address 2 weeks back but nothing. Is it still in the testing stage?
drop an email to sales@crystalweb.co.zaI have read (some of) the posts and it seems to be a worthwhile proposition. I won't give up my present ISP, just try CW for a month and see what it is like. How do I apply?
