Struggling to download a 1.5GB file in order to reflash my Note 2. Going at 30KB/s :-(

How many more weeks are we looking at before the tweaking is completed?

Ja look, speeds seemed a little better this morning, but now its just poor !!!

So I'm relegated to browsing Reddit on mobile while keeping an eye on the sprog. Loading images from imgur is consistently atrocious, and has been since sign up. Not just bad, 6KB/s bad. Just me...?

Meanwhile Hulu and Netflix are running fine.

This is maybe a bit off topic, but is anyone else's free 1gb account also acting screwy, or is it just me?

Axxess:

I'm glad to see you guys are using the same news servers service I used to pay for. They're excellent

Been watching kid vs kat and green lantern the whole day without issues. Yeah the kid in me is FAAAAR from being gone. :D

There definitely is additional capacity but identifying who is benefiting and why is a little more nuanced and we don't want to make any announcement until confirmation

Well if the additional capacity really is live, it did nothing to help with the severe packet loss on your international link :(

That would be fantastic to know. Internet is pretty much useless :wtf:

+1. internet has been worse than with Telkom the last few weeks. Will rather jump ship and go with the tried and tested business accounts of other ISPs.

Please do.

Yeah that's great and all, but 12 days is a lot in internet land. For something that received hardware over a week ago, I think people are going to start wanting their Internet working like it should. I am all for sticking it out with CW as I believe they will make good on their promises, and even more so because they are not officially launched so I am allowing time for teething problems. But please, don't presume to tell people to leave because they have valid reasons. Voting with the wallet is a great way to let your provider know they are no longer getting your money. Telling them about it is even better, because then they know they need to fix up whatever is wrong. Woe unto the provider that doesn't do that, like our buddy Keoma.

We are experiencing problems (the discrepancy between customers performance today is not something we are happy with) and are wanting to get as much data as possible to get to the bottom of this. As indicated earlier we planned contingencies to be ready if the situation does not resolve although this has been upended by virtue of the Seacom scheduled maintenance./

well done fanboi. You keep brown-nosing and see how far that gets you
.......what he means is you don't really belong here if all your going to do and ***** about a unlaunched product, we get it we are all feeling it now.....but honestly anyone who jumps onto a prelaunch product without a backup............i was prepared, obviously you weren't.

nothing really to report yet

Just an observation Paul, but if it takes you 8 hours to just 'confirm you have problems' then there is something wrong. You could have, and should have said something as obvious as this, a good number of hours ago. If it takes this long to get feedback from Cybersmart then I'm definitely not going to be a happy chappy.

How much longer is this going to go on please?

No I agree completely Steven and if you read my posts in this thread you will see all things are not great at all my side either and I have posted as such. It is a beta product and yes it is taking more time to fix than anticipated for the most part. So you will expect those kinds of replies in this thread but the poster I quoted tells us how he pulled 250 odd GB on the 2mb CW uncapped a while back and now moans about how it is worse than Telkom. I don't think any of us here are under the illusion that's things are going great at the moment for everyone.
