To be fair this one is quite big and will probably have some serious ramifications if not resolved quickly.

One of our DC sites is in town and they are burning diesel right now to keep it alive.

What is suspicious is that there was a planned outage just last weekend - almost like a test.
To be fair, not really that big, but I suppose that happens when you guys aren't used to it.

I don't think there has been an outage this big - perhaps ones that last longer.

But yes - we are not used to such things.

Seriously, Cape Town. One blackout and you guys create five threads? If you carry on behaving like this you won’t have to debate secession any more because we will KICK YOU OUT!!!
You see now, we are accustomed to a certain level of service. When it drops we create a ruckus.
For example, in Gauteng its acceptable and traditional to negotiate your way around gigantic potholes and crevasses in the road.
Down here, the first sighting of a loose pebble on the road becomes a major triggering event.
The only way for the City to have its natives shut the fukk up, is to get the pebble removed as a matter of regional urgency.
Up in Gauteng, a committee has to be formed to contemplate to formation of a commission who will be tasked to establish how the pebble got there.
Once established, a parliamentary oversight committee has to determine how best to remove the pebble, and appropriate tender documents have to be drawn up and distributed.

We do things differently here.

It's all about balance and context is it not? How was this CBD outage the DA's fault exactly?
I wouldn't know, I didn't comment on that. Is that the only event that happened in the last 50 years that we can talk about?
