CDPR have adopted CIG's roadmap strategy, but why post one? The expectation is now to release this next-gen console patch in Q1 2022...

I read their commitments, and though they said that they wanted it to look epic on PC, they have downgraded the PC graphics with the patches. It really seems at this time that they are pandering towards the console player base.

A: We are focused on fixing the bugs and crashes players are experiencing across every platform. You can expect more in the way of patches — both small and large — to be released in the future. Our plans for supporting Cyberpunk 2077 in the long-term are unchanged, and we will continue to introduce updates and patches to give all players across all consoles and PCs a better experience with the game.

Q: You have said there would be free DLC for the game in ‘early 2021’, will this be impacted by improvements?

A: We’re still planning on releasing free DLC for the game, just like with The Witcher 3. However, we have decided that our priority is working on the most important fixes and updates. So far, we have released the first DLC pack together with Patch 1.3, and we will be releasing more in the future — we’ll have more to say about that in the coming months.

I avoid the CDPR discussion boards as it is a shill board where the narrative is controlled. I stopped commentating there the day I was told that I am playing the game wrong. Technical discussions shouldn't be open to drama. Constructive criticism isn't welcomed there. At this point in time, I have completed the game within days it launched, have 100% completion, so I am waiting on the expansion pass whether there will be one or not.

  • Archer Quartz "Bandit" - available as a reward or for purchase (depending on choices made by player) after completing Ghost Town and then receiving a message from Dakota or Rogue. For an AAA title which isn't that old... It is currently on special in select places in the US,

XBONE - $10

CDPR made their money... there is speculation that the game may go F2P with the proposed community model. I see CDPR outright dismissed the claims that the game is coming to Game Pass.
 
Finished about a week ago. Ran perfectly on my system no crashes.
1 bug quest, car that spawn.
I was happy with the game.

It's that price because those are the worst platforms to run it on.

Still think that if they made this next-gen only, this game would have done much better...

Ironically, knowing that a next-gen patch is in the making since release. I wouldn't have minded having it released now, and now with all new speak at CDPR with them gone public trading they have a whole new ideology there at CDPR. How this will impact a game which is already released, I don’t know. All I know is, they rushed Cyberpunk 2077 to market, and they must have had their reasons, because they went public. I have an idea that they emptied their pipeline prior to going public, and had to honour, and please, the then agreements.

I am very certain that online elements are going to come in 2022.

All-in-all, don't make promises, and don't market a title on a roadmap.

As is, it is not a bad game.
The problem was all the promises they made they did not stick to.

The game is not at all what they promised.
That is my issue with it.

I still put over 100 hours into it and will play it again eventually.
 
Upgraded from i7 6700K to Ryzen 5800x with 3070, the game running like a dream. Going to start over again! Cannot wait for the DLC.

Technically there is nothing astounding about the game, it should run way better on lower end hardware but it is what it is...
