I have to say, the executive production team at CDPR do have balls and don’t mind taking their pairs to the walls, but I do wonder whether old Sarkeesian had her rodeo with the title’s development? Cyberpunk 2077 will be big, it will be big gaming news and outlets like Feminist Frequency will want to cash in on this, and commentators like that other bearded guy will want to cash in on them.

I mean hey, the executive producer publicly punted porn the other day, and now they published the obligatory 69 hours to go.

These guys at CDPR is picking up where the Houser’s departed :laugh:

I suspect that it is highly likely that we will see influences from that vocal minority, but it will be limited to certain design choices rather than trying to center/sell a game on certain "progressive" plot elements.

CDPR is thankfully in a strong enough position that it does not have to kowtow to these special interest groups and as a result they will strengthen that position among the majority who are sick of political shenanigans creeping into/ruining their games.
 
Just remember everyone, try to not let anybody else's politics and ideologies and reactions to the narrative affect your journey through the narrative. That is a choice you make.

From what I can tell this is just very simply going to be a great narrative with enough polish to make it enjoyable to go through, with meaningful choice. That is good enough for me.
 
Anyone else gonna wait a few months at least before getting and playing the game for the first time? That's how I roll :cool:
 
I see when you play the game on Steam or Epic you will able to link your game to your GOG account with a REDlauncher. Anyone knows anything about the REDlauncher or is it still to be revealed?

the consoles have GOG support, and don't require the REDlauncher.

I want to know what this entails? I guess I will need to link my Steam game to another GOG client, /sigh. Well, I have two.

It would be interesting to know that the REDlauncher may evolve into the multi player ecosystem ;)

Just to add, you don't need to be online to use your rewards in-game. So, pirates, you will also be able to download the goodies in the time to come.

Why would it? I am but merely curious how a fictional universe is influencing those in the Matrix.

Yup the games I'm playing right now are a few years old as well. Except maybe for Detroit. Really want to play Death Stranding now though. But I usually wait a few months for games to become cheaper and more stable. Miss the days when games didn't really need patches like today.

ME Andromeda is a great game btw. Love it just as much as the original trilogy.

I thought it was bad going by public opinion, but the story is great and mechanics are doing the play style of the game justice. The only thing which irks me is that the relationships paths in this game are straight-up whoring. The trilogy wasn't this hard on a starship filled with naaibuddies.

This is how I roll too, but it was November and I missed Dr. Freeman and then I met Keanu. I was weak, we all have our own ways of coping. So I preordered.

My least favourite thing about the game is actually Ryder. Don't like the dude at all and he's way too childish for someone so massively important
 
I am currently busy watching the leaked PS4 gameplay. I am not going to give my opinion on the gameplay here, but I understand it is the 'unpatched' version, but the game seems to be struggling on PS4 in some instances, perhaps the stream is capped or lagged in places?
