If I understand correctly, the balance should only update once you disconnect? And since they probably still have 2 databases, you might not see up to date info. I would be careful...

Obviously u test upgrades & new systems during first few days of implementations.
Seems they just installed and left for home once install was done.

All hearsay, i have it on good authority that the technical people and most people on this project pulled +36 hours without sleep!
 
my data counter just started working now.....stop all your "free" downloads. The gravy-train has finally stopped. Thanks again Cell C for awesome service. :)

Glad you guys were enjoying yourselfs but has anything else been changed? Bought my data thing saturday and it worked till last night but now I dont get any reception anymore. And when I walk outside to find a connection and do a speedtest.net run I now connect to a Umhlanga server as opposed to a Joburg one yesterday (situated in Stellenbosch)

Ya, should've done my homework better...

I thought they were cost effective before, but with an extra 3Gb, or so, for February, they are even more value for money than before. Just hope that they can keep this up, and not disappoint us all further down the road...

Yeah, I tried to connect earlier today, and it connected but without any data throughput, so I figured it was to do with their upgrades. Later in the day connected and retrieved emails successfully, downloaded updates etc., without even bothering to check my data balance. Even browsed MyBB, skipping over this thread. Now I decided to read it, and saw the comments about the extra data, now I am sitting on 4991.0MB, go Cell C! :D

Ive had some disconnection problems but last 2 days it has been very reliable. I live in Die boord - Stellenbosch

I got 4gb for mahala! ^^
