Yeah, there was something else they decided to take away from the rack and you now have to ask for it. Thik it was seratonin. But you can use all the useless weg gloss crapp all you want. I'm not one for conspiracies but with pharmaceuticals I'm starting to wonderYeah our medicines control council should get their heads out of their arses. 500IU are for babies.
FYI my severe depression is 90% better since taking Vitamin D. But it has to be high dose. The pharmaceutical companies controlling our health care just won't acknowledge that having optimal levels takes care of a lot of ailments. After all why should they when everyone can just pop a patented pill to "cure" [-]symptoms[/-] ailments.

Our food just ain't what it used to be. I was sceptical about hippy drugs ( vitamins ) but since I have been diagnosed with high cholesterol ( the type I inherited ) I have been managing it successfully with hippy drugs.I eat fairly well, and while I am not going to get into an argument about vitamins, I went to the chemist a couple months ago with persistent sores around the corners of my mouth. When I asked what might help they said 'vitamin supplement'.
I was pretty skeptical, and presto! Within a week, totally cleared up.
My point is that multivitamins are not a scam - They can assist if you are lacking in something. I'm sure there are certain vitamins which are not best taken in that form, or don't work at all (I've no idea), but they can certainly have an effect.
I'm all for eating all your vitamins if you can, but I doubt many people can manage that exclusively.
And I hate taking my anti Emo pills, it takes my creativity away completely, I don't see why I shouldn't try something like vita D if it doesn't work I haven't lost anything.
Exercise is my current coping mechanism.
