I think its you who fail to grasp the idea that some people might not like D3. Never mind that forums everywhere are full of people bitching about it, and Blizzard is releasing a MAJOR patch to address a lot of their concerns.

Who is more likely to post a) whiners or b) people enjoying the game
So what is your point? Some people dont like it, some people do like it, but you are right because... ???
And whats really funny, is now that profiles are live you can see that some of the whiners dont have a character past level 10, and yet complain about inferno

But according to you guys, D3 is perfect. Why then is Blizzard patching it?

Could you please quote where I said that? No? Oh right, you prefer making arguments based on pure fiction... pathetic

Option 1: Auto-assigned
Option 2: Manually assign

That's what I don't like... There is a lack of options.

Knowing blizzard they will eventually allow it, because I see alot of people complain about this, still won't make much of a difference to me, will still end up splitting it between Strength and Vitality on my barb:)

Clearly the D3 defense force is here. Find me similar threads about how players of D2, when it was new, bitched as much, and I'll shut up. If you cant prove that D2 had the same frosty reception that D3 is having, then you have to admit its not going down nearly as well as it should.

No, clearly the butthurt is strong here. I wish people like you would just move on, and go play precious D2 instead of crying over D3. Seriously.

Okay so why are people so full of hate for it on forums? Are all of them idiots?

.

It's called the microsoft effect, the bigger you are the more hate you get, and the people that are not complaining are actually playing and enjoying the game, and don't give me the BS that no one is playing anymore, try joining a public game any time of the day and you'll instantly get grouped with 3 random people. Check out this site http://www.diablofans.com/, its got LOADS of members that actually love the game its not only the 3 or 4 of us here on mybb:D

Thats my opinion

But I thought you were not here to argue?

Must.... resist... urge...

Dammit!

I gave my opinion. I got hammered for it. I responded in kind giving my reasons. Then my highly flawed opinionated reasons were "the bigeest fail in the universe" according to yours truly.

Just let me have my crappy opinion with some pride darn you! :p

And yes, whiners are more likely to post.... Hence my post! MWAAHAHAHA!!!!

:D I lol'd

Let me be a bit more eloquent
Two things:
1) Levelling up a lot of toons to test different stuff <- hate hate hate, zomg, I cant tell you of all the hate. But others loved it, hence they'll hate D3 (wheres the re playability basically)
2) No stat/skill points. I was on the fence with this until I realised it was all an illusion. Maybe you think otherwise, buts thats why I like the current system, I cant stuff it up because of future gear whose requirements I dont know yet

And of course there is stuff I dont like as well. Like amazing stat rolls, eg 200 intel on an otherwise amazing monk fist with LoH, crit dmg, socket etc. They have addressed that with legendaries at least (class specific legends will get class specific stats).

So ya whatever, more patches = more polish = hopefully more hours bashing in mobs skulls

Haha you mean to say you want us to link a forum post of 12 years back? Haha did Blizz even have official forums back then, if they had, 99% (made up stat) of their fan base weren't voicing their opinions on there, because its not like everyone had internet back then:wtf:

Edit: Wait what, prOd actually linked a forum post from 2000, lulz, so yeah I guess D2 also had its haters

People complaining about bad drop rates :O I have quit this game because it is simply just too easy... Have you ever farmed in D2, spending a few weeks on doing the same run over and over and still not getting the items you needed were pretty much it.

2) Who gives a %@^# if it was an illusion?! It felt more personal and less like, "You're too dumb to do this properly, so we'll do it for you"

So ya whatever, more patches = more polish = hopefully more hours bashing in mobs skulls - The thing about D2, was vanilla wasn't good at all and hell was pretty much what inferno is now, it was tedious, but there were hardly any other options.

With D3, there's a lot of competition and really just a lot of other games to play. They screwed up big time on release. There will be little point in patching the game if no one is playing it anymore because they've moved to greener pastures.

Right now, there is no other aRPG to play. But TL2 is out soon as is PoE.

And c'mon. You have to admit the lack of awesome affixes. You cannot be on this forum and tell me crushing blow wasn't awesome. Now that is FACT and not opinion! *blocks ears with fingers* LALALALALALA CAN'T HEAR YOUUUUUUU!!!! :D

In D2 i remember my sorceress had very little health and strength, bit more dex and a huge amount of mana. U needed alot for defence and attack spells but it worked well. In melee 1 shot kills you but the mobs didn't get anywhere near you.

Would have loved to do the same in D3 but the game works completely different. There is no way you can try a low health and def toon in D3.

That's pretty much how you play Witch Doctor with Zombie bears. Zerg and run.

Ok, so this in only from 1.04 onwards but at least they are trying. Before this most legendaries were full of meh
Puzzle Ring - This ring sometimes calls forth a Treasure Goblin when you are hit.
Skycutter - Chance to summon angelic assistance when attacking. (there is also a demon one with fire chains)
Cluckeye - 25% chance to cluck when attacking.
Hellrack - Chance to root enemies to the ground when you hit them.
Flying Dragon - Chance to double your attack speed when attacking.
Bul-Kathos's Wedding Band - You drain life from enemies around you.

Dunno if I misunderstood your post, but sure you can, inferno was completed with a DH with 7000 hp a couple of weeks ago, and my first reaction was "Yeah sure prbably died like a million times" but after I checked his vids on you tube I saw he dies less than I do with my DH with 30k hp:eek:

Only thing that'll save DIII for me is PVP, seriously..

Consider it saved then, because that will be coming in patch 1.1

That's another thing people seem to forget, they see the end game as a item grind only, but they forget that they'll have to have one or 2 epic chars when PvP hits, that motivates me atleast, to keep finding better gear so I can stand a chance at PvP

Well then i must admit he/she is a much better player than i am. I get owned with my wizard in hell with 13k hp. Would love to know what the quality of his/her gear is.

I think the paragon sys will improve longevity but it wont get me to play more after i am done with my monk.
