DigiChilli January Status and feedback

Not so great my side my downloads seem to corrupt near the end when using JDownloader, torrents are okay averaging 20kB/s. HTTP downloads are struggling :/

Anyone else having these problems?

P.S I'm still on the 44.66.XX.X IP range - even after rebooting the router it "might" change a digit :o

512 ADSL line Mild package R500

Morning all, yip my torrents are doing great between 38KB/s and 51KB/s, Browsing is ok with torrents running, Have not tried emule yet. And migrated to a 512 line last night ( i love the small town telkom exchange, they have nothing better to do then help you out straight away)
Spicy with 512 line

I was getting pretty decent throughput (in comparison to the last few days worth) last night until the power died... I'm hoping that it persists through the weekend so that I can actually get some downloading done... hopefully there are no storms either.

In a sum up, DigiChilli worth it, or not???

It really depends on what you want to use it for. If you're planning to run a business off of it, or do any form of gaming... probably not. Or rather, not yet.

If you're wanting to download a lot and have it come down fast... again, probably not. Though mileage may vary depending on what package you take.

However, if you're content to let things take their time but want a solution where you're not worrying about being capped, then yes (this is what I use it for...)

Yip i agree with this in full, Digichilli are still very new, and i think have lots of tweaking to do, but im happy so far but i dont use this service for any form of buisness yet, just my own things :D

Hi Dave, thanks for the RS and torrents. looking good. burts to about 80

For me (on a 384k line on Spicy) RS has gone to hell the last few days (when it is working it is getting around 3-5K), and my browsing goes from being perfectly acceptable to completely stopped every few minutes. I haven't tried Xbox Live yet, but that is because these speeds are giving me the fear. Me = not a happy camper at the moment
