The -1 thing confuses me a bit too but I think they mean that's the last day payment is valid and thus is due on the next day (which would be the same day of the month). I'm thinking this:

A) Because it'd be kinda weird to have the day you need to pay -1ing every single month (so you'd need to change the day every month)
B) During one of my recent issues the callcenter agent told me I only needed to pay again on the 1st of Feb as I last paid on the 1st of Jan.

I don't get more than 200kb/s no matter what i do.
HTTP downloads
Torrents
Youtube
ens..

It is stable though

My connection died earlier (somewhere between 4:00 and now). It keeps rejecting my username and password.

I called DC this afternoon and they told me that there was a problem and that everything would be fixed by late afternoon....well everything is still dog slow ......

I am not having any trouble with my spicy package on a 4 meg line... Getting average speeds of 40KBS (Done just over 2 gig in the last 12 hours.)

My connection is fine, torrents seed at 10k/s (limited), Astra going steady at 20-24k/s, wish it was faster though.

Morning all.......

My 384 Spicy DC is just ***....

Http downloads are k@k max speed I get is 6kb's

Browsing is like giving birth to a roll of razor wire.......PAINFUL......:twisted::twisted:

Reboot your modem NOW - DC just flipped a switch and once again I'm getting full line speed :D

I have to say that what is really beginning to p me off now is when I start my news downloads at night and come back the next morning with the thing stalled after just 250Mb or so. It's an astraweb account and it just looks like someone has set the system up to die at some point in the night... unless it's my grabit settings... what news client are you using poizonouz?

This is really a sorry state of affairs at the moment, I am going at a maximum of 20KB/s on astraweb with a 4mb line and a mild account. Where is the bursting?!

I have rebooted my modem so many times that this morning it told me in very certain terms that it had a headache......:wtf:

Nothing helps......:cry::cry::cry:

Don't worry at least it seems like they're working on it, just had a random disconnect and boom back on my old and slooow IP :o

Okay, this is ridiculous.

It seems that my account has evaporated from existence ever since I asked for a refund.

My modem can't connect to my DC account, and when I try use Windows it tells me that my username/password is incorrect.

Is anyone else getting this issue?

*EDIT*
I should mention that the refund is only happening on Monday, meaning that they still have my money

But with a refund, don't you get all your money back? If so, then you are not suppose to browse, cause then you owe them money
