DigiChilli January Status and feedback

My connection is currently very erratic, running from 5Kbs to 35Kbs

Same thing started here. My guess is all Dc users are logging back on making the network unstable, oops :o Give it an hour or so and prehaps it'll stabilize :)
 
mine stopped and when I restarted the router there were a whole lot of new IP's.....had net but couldn't surf or anything.....

This went on for about 3 hours then eventually I got my old Ip's back and it seems to be working....:wtf::wtf::wtf:
 
I can't connect to DC at all - their Switchboard tells me there is a problem with Telkom. Is any one connected to DC?

Connected and it's very bad :sick: I think (even with the wild jumps up & down) I'm averaging 17kB/s :(

I thought it was a Telkom problem coz you can always leave it to them to spoil the party :rolleyes:
 
Wow 17kB/s - I am lucky to get that on High Days! Don't know what to do about DC - fortunately I have an alternative ISP but more expensive.

Yip also very bad speed. Was told it was telkom....!
BTW should we not update this thread to read March!
 
Can't download from Rapidshare but I can still browse.
Edit: Okay, my Rapidshare is downloading again.

Connection is alive but like everyone else my speeds are EXTREMELY erratic and usually for the worse.

Pity............DC had been doing so well for over a week now.
 
Good news! Speeds are looking better and a damn sight more stable. I think it might still be a while until speeds are back to awesome status but it's nice to see it is actually being worked on :)
 
Would you PPL just stop using DC already!! 293 pages of moan moan moan! Plus it's March, not January!

Their service is obviously up to ***, and they are just laughing at you for trying. Come on People! Wake the F up! I dropped them after 3days and have never looked back.
 
Sad to say, I'm glad to be off DC (even though I got mails from their accounts department well after Cooling Off last month asking for payment in order to reactivate my service). I still think it's a great idea and I think we all hoped it would work out, especially considering their pricing, but I cannot safely use this connection at home with non-technical people who don't understand the technical difficulties being experienced, let alone do any reliable technical support over that link.

Good luck to those that have stayed on. I hope you are rewarded for your patience.

Wow aren't you the oulike oke around here, last time I checked there was no law against freedom of choice. Currently my connection is flying, on astraweb with my 384 line I am getting between 35Kbs and 45Kbs, so tell me again, why would I want to leave?

so you trying to tell me, that 294pages, are of people raving about how awesome DC is. NO, No they are not. you are most likely one of the select few who's connection is actually stable enough. and can you actually tell me that its been stable more that 60% of the time you have had an account?
 
DC is awesome for this month...gr8 work folks.


of course not the best of the service but given the PRICE/PERFORMANCE ratio...its the best out there.
