DigiChilli January Status and feedback

Seriously need to train their Call desk staff not to say "Howzit" and then of course the odd silences when asking questions.

Dont get me wrong - just some positive criticism.
 
Tempting... I like some of the comments here..

So i guess you guys get full speed on most protocols inc p2p during the day ?.. 384k users care 2 comment ?

This might be an alternative for me :/

These are speeds I am getting 24/7. Some people seem to get better speeds now and then but I would say these are the average speeds.

HTTP Multi Threaded: Full speed 39-40kB/s.
HTTP Single Threaded: Full Speed 90% of the time, occasional slow down to around 25kB/s or so.
Video Streaming: Full Speed on Youtube and many other sites, but some only around 20kB/s.
Audio Streaming: Full speeds even though you don't need it.
P2P: Not quite full line speed (for me at least) average is 30kB/s on uTorrent.**
NZB: Full speed.

**Torrents are slightly shaped for me, not badly but seems that when it works it works great and when it doesn't I still get accetpable speeds (~20kB/s). Other users may be getting better speeds so hopefully they will comment too :)

All in all DC is amazing any way you put it. I hope they never go away and only get better. :D

Lol OK anyone else having trouble Gmail & Pidgin atm? Everything else is working 100% like normal. Hope it's a temp thing, but it's nothing serious :p

Can't really comment on torrents, don't use them much. An there is to much other stuff that can influence the speed. Mainly use news servers. Currently using a cheapnews.eu and and far as I know they are one of the cheapest and I'm getting full speed

I'm getting full speed here. It does go up & down but I cant still browse the net. I'd say if it doesn't get better in an hour or so phone DC and have them sort it out. They could also be having problems.

My Rapidshare download speed has taken a huge nose dive, I'm only getting around 5KB/s. Normal HTTP downloads are still full speed.
Anybody else having a problem with Rapidshare?

Edit: It's finally working again.

Can you let me know if you got my reply to your PM, I sent it but there is no recognition that I sent a message. It says 0 messages sent.

Anyway, I had 41KB/s down and 12KB/s up for speedtests to Johannesburg, Durban and London.

My Rapidshare downloads died again around 1am this morning and are still dead. Also can't loads the Rapidshare website.

Checked my Telkom account and Rapidshare is working fine.
