DigiChilli January Status and feedback

Pretty clever of them actually, at this rate they won't have any consumers to worry about protecting.

LOL, and there the number is gone.

Was thinking more in the line of the companies having the small print that they may change the terms and conditions without notice.

Was waiting for that as well, lol.

Just saw this on the Axxess site and it reminded me of Digichilli. :D

Obviously replace the wooden block with Digichilli's uncapped account.
Also no matter how hard they try, that last panel will never happen for them ever.

Just thinking about it, I think this just may be Digichilli's logic at the moment and it's failing miserably. Only Microsoft would be able to pull that off. *Cough* Kinect *Cough*.

They just went to far this time. I don't mind network problems (it's something that happens) but with changing of packages, and never knowing when it will actually work, they shot themselves in the foot a few times. But I got value for money for 7 months.

The worst part is they changed the packages mid-month with no prior warning, meaning we all have to suffer either several days of this half-on half-off shaped to hell connection OR lose a bundle signing up for another ISP early. Pretty much as scummy as the recent Afrihost move..............but at least THEY sent out an email about it.

If I look back, some of the problems started at beginning of the month.

Well that's pretty much it for me the lack of commincation from DC is truly outstanding still no email/notification from them about shaping their packages. Funny queiried something with Openweb and got a response 4 minutes later  Oh well DC was fun while it lasted.

Is anyone else kind getting tired of DC's on again, off again service? I'm getting very decent speeds of 25kB/s and above. Youtube running at full speed.

I don't think this going to help change my mind about trying openweb out though, but at least I can perhaps pump a gig or 2 with DC till I swop :p

I'm getting tired of this crap as well, on Tuesday I was getting some good speeds during the day and then at midnight Rapidshare starts timing out yet I still got good speeds for normal HTTP, then the whole of Wednesday I was getting fantastic speeds then around 22:30 Rapidshare starts timing out and my HTTP speeds drop to below 10KB/s. Now today Rapidshare has been either timing out or getting 1-3KB/s and normal HTTP is around 5-15KB/s.

Their shaping is all over the place, how do I get near full speed during office hours and then after hours next to nothing. It just doesn't make sense.
I'm just waiting till the end of the month to try out another ISP.

It does boggle the mind how after hours is shaped more than business hours. I don't know if I can wait a few more days to move away from DC.

Getting 23KB/s now but I am still surfing so that may be why it's gone down.

How were your speeds yesterday?
I was getting around full speed all day, it even reached 70KB/s, pretty much what we were getting from Digichilli before this month. It's like Digichilli has segregated us into groups and while one group is getting good speeds the other group gets shaped to hell and then the next day they switch.

I'll check around 22:00-00:00 tonight to see if my speeds change again.

I can't believe people are still with this company... DC was my first 'uncapped' account. Man aluive, what an experience. Never EVER again, i don't care if their ratings go through the roof, i will never ever deal with them again.

Speeds yesterday were terrible. I think the best speeds I got during the day was 9KB/s :wtf: and then after 8/9pm I was lucky if I got 7KB/s, but wait there is more I do remember after 10 my downloads got a quick shot of crack and were going at 12KB/s!

So yeah looks like we've swopped speeds lol tomorrow it's clickme's turn! :D

EDIT: Just checked my speeds and since I stopped browsing all together my speeds have climbed to 26KB/s :p

Xineox got good speeds cause the electricity decided to strike since 6 this morning :p . Seriously speed is absolutely crap, that is when I am able to connect to something to download, News and torrents is dead. HTTPS is also as dead as a dodo. And these idiots is till unable to confirm cancellation, I think they are actually worse then the original DC support staff, and I didn't think that was possible.

Hmm interesting. Before 10pm I was getting 13KB/s and then magically after 10pm I now have speeds of 18KB/s. Is DC shaping at weird times? I think so :erm:
