DigiChilli January Status and feedback

I think time will tell...
For the past 3 days at least they've been closing the internet at 6ish.

Hi Sally ... how u doing? ;)

What speeds are u reaching and what is your line speed?

:erm:

Hey there J......

things have been fantastic...downloading http was a dream then about 3 days ago everything went bottoms up...had net but couldn't use it......this morning it seems to be back and not to bad.....

http download is good so far.....40-20kb's....browsing a bit slow but much better

I dont want to use one.

Sure, i don't either. It may not be ideal, but in the meantime you can get what you want quickly.

You see the network will improve when it gets populated with non p2p users. At the moment the primary users are mybb downloaders, and so the network is having to cope with extreme use. Once digichilli goes mainstream, the heavy downloaders will form a vastly smaller percentage, and the network will stabilize. With stability will come higher single thread speed.

Dave and co are having to throttle single threaded downloads to stabilize the network.

Well I have had it.

Single threaded HTTP downloads running between 2 KB/s and 10 KB/s when I'm lucky and IF they do not disconnect 180 MB+ into 200 MB download.

Even if it's a free test account. I had none of this cr#p while on the WA trial.

Anyone want a free test DigiChilli account?
PM me early today please.

If not why not...Please mail me at [email protected]

probably still working on connection. will be on again soon i am sure.

Oh I see. I'll drink to that...

Makhullu chilli has been on record as saying they are using the 80/20 rule. The 80/20 rule is very reasonable from a user perspective.

Thats 200 heavy users per 1000 clients. At the moment there must be 700+ mybb downloaders per 1000 clients. As Whitney says, thats wack as crack.

It will improve as digichilli goes mainstream and gets non mybb clients on board. Mybb users are a network admins worst nightmare.
