DigiChilli January Status and feedback

Imagine this...when i had trouble with my ADSL line:

After 10 calls, each detailing my problem...6 ref numbers and 2 modems later( to make sure). I went to a telkom branch in my area...I told the lady my whole story...And then,....SHE HAD THE NERVE TO PHONE TELKOM FROM TELKOM AND GIVE ME THE PHONE TO SPEAK TO A TECHNICIAN AGAIN fFROM TELKOM...?????????????????????????????????? She told: "IM NOT A TECHN."

WTF...:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

I had same issue two weeks ago, new adsl line, dead, explained me story over 50 times and kept getting shoved around from call center to call center, saying its my router

Thanks for the update Dave.

It's official, telkom are part of the conspiracy. :p

We appreciate the regular updates, this will keep your customers much happier during the down time. Shows you actually care about customers.

Dave don't you think it would make sense to get everyone at digichilli a myadsl forum account so that they can leave a simple update message if there is a major change on the network.

Obviously you can't always do it in a timely fashion as you are not always around.

I think the high volume of traffic in these threads would make it worth the effort.

I don't have a DC account but Dave, these regular updates will certainly help cool the flames! People hate to be left in the dark and just want to be informed as to what the problem is. People can be surprisingly patient with a little feedback. As this thread will testify, remain silent and pretty soon you have an angry mob feeding off each other's frustrations.;)

All i wanted for chrismas was uncapped internet:cry::sick:

Thanks for the update Dave - Think he had any sleep the last week?:(

had a tech out here who was a real condscending bustard....

couldn't handle him anymore and told him in very plain and simple english to pee off...

added a few porra swear words and then let my dog escort him out the door....
