Apparently Chantel left in January sometime (at least according to Sinza on the helpdesk). I found this out after spending three weeks emailing and trying to find out what had happened to my refund when I was triple debited for January! I think you can still send an email to accounts@digichilli or call the helpless desk and make sure you get that reference number!

We are waiting for DC guys to CLOSE this thread and start a new one...but i think once the things are sorted out...we dont even need a thread...... ;)
 
Cant wait for that to happen... My browsing sux this morning. I can hardly browse at all, and torrents running at 3kBs

this is more realistic on DC. the 45gig is only possible on the more expensive R1000+ accounts if at all. For that money i rather use Axxess.
 
it's fine that you guys download so much but i subscribed to news servers when they were still good....now they are dead....
move over to Rapidshare when they were good, now they are dead....
Torrents are worse than my mother in law...
this is a joke...

This is the last month for me...cheap or not cheap....i can get 20 GB international on afrihosts special which is still runnning btw...at FULL speed.
No subscription to news or rapidshare add another R200.

So effectively 30-35 GB of pure pleasure....
Sorry DC is only cheap to me if i can do 100GB or more.

Speeds are going down again:

HTTP single: 17kB/s
HTTP multi threaded: 21kB/s max but too unstable to be called the average :(
Torrents: Dead 1.3kB/s max
Audio streaming: Working fine even when downloading
Video Streaming: Slow but works
Pidgin: Works perfectly
Browsing: Sluggish when downloading and pretty good when only browsing

I've also noticed speeds seem to burst at random, but not consistently. I have a theory that what DC have done here is a shared virtual pipe. Let's say 10 people to a pipe and if all are on speeds are equally at 20kB/s, but now say 1 person goes off then the other 9 people get his share of 20kB/s. I could be wrong but it'd explain why people seem to be getting totally different results but again I'm probably wrong :p See what happens when you don't know what's going on, you get crazy theories :D

Had that for the last week, try giving them a call ;) Bet you my left nut you wont get it sorted... it will fix itself by random chance
 
Well I am on just about 30gb this month, spicy and 384 line.

Astra going all the time, ave 24k/s, wish it was faster. And I am constantly seeding to torrent sites as well.
 
I haven't look at this topic for a while... seems to be the same as when it started. As we know with DC, 50% of users get their bandwidth fine, and then it swops to the other 50% users a day or two later. You guys should just invest in the Openweb 50% month deal... at least you will KNOW when your bw is going to work!!!!
