My international torrent are getting slow .. about 5kB, about 40min ago it was 30kB/s
the same file with about 800 seeds (no it's not p0rn) :)
 
Torrents still flying @ 40kb on my 512k line. +7kb extra on my other pc on the same line so 47kb total give or take a few.

http browsing still poo.

TCP/IP overhead is not 17%. PPPOE and ATM overhead is significant but that's only on your sync speed, not TCP speed.
TCP overhead (stock ethernet frames) is in the region of 5-8%

If rate limiting is applied at the IP level, then 256kbit/s will give you worst case 29KB/s and best case 31KB/s download speed.

Well in short.... but if you go and check on any TCP/IP network, this is what you end up with.
 
Well, my upload have increased - getting 24kb on torrents. Sadly, downloads are still the same...
 
i used a 30gb using webafica FULL SPEED ALL the time torrent fine nzb fine http fine perfect now if only it was uncapped i would jump straight to it

Too bad you couldn't use any of that cap to find out the meaning of "punctuation". =/
 
Dam this runes of magic up date has 500mb to go till its finished may i get abit a boost i am going grey here lol
 
I jumped across to my prepaid Axxess account and now, back on the digichilli account, I realise how it really is :(

My steam update fluttered briefly on 4kb/s, then 2kb/s, then 1kb/s and now dead.
