Just remember Felicity Menge has been in the industry for many years and had a few companies along the way. Last one I know of was Avoxi SA that went tits up
Allow me to share a bit about my background: I spent 8 years working in Platform Integration, which was later acquired by an international company. An interesting note about my career is that I was the first person to legally implement VOIP services in South Africa, an achievement for which I possess a noteworthy badge.
After the acquisition of Platform, I took a break and spent some time in Cyprus. I returned when my brother experienced heart failure and fell into a coma. During this period, an opportunity arose for me to establish Clear Voice. Over the course of three years, we experienced substantial growth, achieving a valuation of R12 million. This led to a merger with iconnect, as well as the buyout of other partners. Successfully overseeing the merger and assuming the role of COO, I later acquired a farm in Montague, Western Cape, where I developed a unique tipi getaway destination.
My involvement in the telecoms industry was reignited by client requests and AVOXI's proposition to lead the development of their Channel Division. I held the position of SVP and was an integral part of the executive committee for four years, involving frequent international travel. Eventually, I departed from AVOXI to establish a Telecoms Training Company, a pursuit that truly resonated with my passions. This endeavor involves creating and curating my own courses, often in collaboration with other technical trainers on Technical Training.
Could you kindly elaborate on your reference to "tits ups"? I'm here to help and engage in meaningful conversation.
