Discovery Bank

Seems to be a fix for September (cash back received mid October). Was on 11% reward level while total fuel spend > R1000. Should have gotten R110 but only got R99. So the R11 must be the correction.
 
I got R46, have no idea why,unless it's a fix for September but my September was correct if I remember.
I should have got R60 for Oct and then R60 for Nov (I get 6% cash back for spend of R1000 so how did they get R46? I'll phone them next week but I can see their answer" there is a delay in payment"
 
If anyone is interested I’m buying discovery miles at 11.5 miles per rand. A better rate than what discovery is offering.

 
I managed to downgrade, and I can see on the app that the card changed color, but I haven't gotten a message to pick up my new card...

the app gave me the option to have the card picked up or delivered. Chose to pick it up cause the couriers are quite useless.
 
No you don’t have to pay the full amount. Easiest is get a Masterpass app or EasyPay app and pay small amounts from your phone.
Thanks I did my first payment, R100 and got my one point for transaction towards my weekly goal, waited an hour did another transaction for R50 payment was successful but I never got my next 1 point for the transaction? Been a few hours (the payment was successful and got the SMS etc)

Money goal seems to be stuck again, your point should come through when they fix it. No need to wait an hour between transactions...

Almost got a heart attack from a delayed transaction that was made on the 11th of this month but I only get the notification now. Did anyone else get a delayed notification?
 
Has anyone ever managed to cancel their banking facility(Standalone transnational account) and starting from scratch again with a banking suite? I am getting mixed messages from discovery. I dont know if some are trying to scare me to not cancel.

Nope, all mine are coming through immediately.... Christmas shopping :crying:

I also got a few notifications today from transaction done last week. Money points for them was also only added today.
 
They released an update for the app(android) now nothing happens when I click login.is it just my phone?

I had the same issue. Restarted my phone fixed it for me. Same with the normal Discovery app

Did you do the update now? I did restart my phone and can't login to the bank app, the health app is fine
 
Another massive set back is that the Discovery Banking App doesn't work overseas. Can't check your credit card balance and you have to phone them which doesn't help if you only have a data sim (Never responded to the emails sent). Had no issues with my Standard Bank app.

Mine worked fine when I was overseas

Did you perhaps use the WiFi to connect. It could be a security feature to disallow the use of the app using public WiFi
 
So clearly I must be the only one that cant log in since the update this morning. unistalled,restarted etc phone the call centre they no help and logged a query, the touch part seems the issue. as its not picking up that i am trying login
