Discovery Vitality [2019]

I am new to Vitality, started 1 March 2019. I need clarification on how to get to Gold Status quick, 45000 points.

As per their website, the maximum points you can earn in a year is 30 000, and the points reset every year, how on earth do I as an individual get to 45 000 points?

Is there a difference in "physical fitness" points and "assessment points"?

Unless the below on their website is out dated?

30k max for gym a year.

You can get 22500 points health assessment and 7500 for fitness assessment. If you are healthy and fit.

Your vitlaty age gives 2500 points you can do that online quickly.

Yes but a lot of these points you have to "pay for" by visiting and paying a fee to a health professional. So they aren't free to earn.

Obviously? Majority of the check-ups rely on someone to perform a service, and they obviously need to be paid... I think you can claim back from MSA for some of the checkups though?

Myself and my wife both reached our goals last week, but only she got to use the play board? There is no plays available for me.

Is that normal??

Sometimes the cpr course are free when theres promotions.

Has the woolworths in-store reward been removed for anyone or just me and my wife because we use it often? My initial assumption would be it has something to do with the upcoming bank launch.

Anybody know how the vitality will work in the below situation:

I currently have vitality (linked to my bankmed), which is coming to an end as of 31st March 2019, as i have resigned from my medical aid and moved over to my wife's medical aid (Exact same plan and medical aid that i had), my wife however did not have Vitality, so i activated her vitality yesterday, and it will take affect 1st April 2019, and she will be the main member.

Now i know that my points will carry over to the new vitality, and i will loose my current status (gold 2 year in a row, end of this year wouldve been diamond... but yeah...)

But i want to know, how will the log in work? Will i still have access to my current points, Dischem vouchers, Vitality active rewards (Currently have 140 active rewards points, and 1 diamond.)

I tried asking the call center all this, but they all give different explanations.

Quick question, I am running a Vitality race next week Thursday. Will the points I get be counting towards next week's goal cycle (Goal cycle ends Thursday evening) or will it go through to the next goal cycle ? Only reason I ask is because I see it can take 3 days to load the data to Discovery Vitality so that just confuses me as to know for which week's active goals it will count. The week ending that day, or the week starting the next day?

I hope this makes sense.

It will count towards this week, the week ends Friday at midnight.

Does not matter how long it takes them to get it, what matters is its recorded date, that being said, you have till Tuesday, midnight of the following week to ensure all activities are sync for the previous week in order to have it count towards the Vitality rewards.

Hi, doesn't the goal cycle end on the Friday evening? As far as I am aware, the points will be awarded on the day you did the race. So it will be on next week's goal cycle.

You beat me to it. :)
