Discovery Vitality 2020

Does anyone know of a public space to suggest devices etc for Vitality?

Have you guys heard of Whoop Fitness at all? Looks like a such a good product and the kind of data that Discovery would probably want from its clients as well. Works on a subscription service and all in Dollars/Euros so a bit tricky for SA at the moment.

They ask that you send all suggestion to File 13, it save them the trouble of having to move it their themselves.
 
Absolutely no updates on Twitter. Has anyone seen anything at all?
 
Garmin was hit by a possible ransomware attack. They have released (understandably) very limited information on the attack, but most of their services that require information exchange are affected. If it is ransomware, it can go on until they (Garmin) pay the ransom, or know how to work around it. Until then, there is nothing Discovery can do - other than ask you to manually upload your workout through third party apps like Strava or wait until its all over with Garmin.
 
Does anyone here use the Polar OH1 HR strap (or similar) and can confirm it syncs to Discovery via the Polar app directly - without the need to also have Polar watch? A family member is wanting to earn HR points for rowing and I see the OH1 is currently R1500 at SW. thanks

I can confirm it used to when I still had vitality last year. I used it for swimming as garmin only added that support to wrists in recent models. I usually got my 100pts for a swim.

Yes, no watch needed. I used my OH1 yesterday, because Garmin is down.

Yes, I used my OH1 with Polar Beat on my phone. 300 vitality points for 22min jogging & walking + 15 min of pushups.

I bought mine this month and got paid back 50% for it this past week. Might be too late to still get double rewards depending on when your family member's cycle ends.
