So I'm thinking of joining the gym again.

What is the max cash back you can get from a premier Virgin active membership?

I know with the black account it's up to 90% but what is it if you don't have a black bank account?
Don't think you beed premier atm, heard you can go any gym close by atm with normal membership.

I get 75% back and then 25% from gym booster, through don't think you can sign up for gym booster anymore

Is this as a result of the lockdown? I like the flexibility which is why I'm looking at the premier club membership.

Is the gym booster not linked to the healthy banking? They still refer to the gym booster in their material so it must still be a thing. They just not clear about accounts other than black for the premier membership option.

Guess I'll need to call them tomorrow to get some clarity.

Yeah any gym thing is because of lockdown, gym is limited to 50 people, so if one is full you can go to another one

Apologies if someone has asked this before.
Say I purchase a R500 voucher for Cape Union Mart on the Discovery App for R375 (25% Discount), and I purchase something for R400, will I receive the R100 back in cash ?
You won't get cash back. They will however add the balance to a gift card for you. What we normally do is to add the full R500 discovery voucher to a gift card en then we buy from the gift card. You can stack the voucher like that as well.

Thank you, that’s solid advice. Will go that route.

The risk of this is if you lose the card. If you keep it as a voucher number, so long as you store the number somewhere there's nothing physical to lose, though the risk here is if someone else uses the voucher number somehow to steal the balance left on it.

I think the Vitality discount is 50%. You only start getting the bank discounts with a black card.

Haven't redeemed miles for a while, but I don't see yuppiechef in the app (to buy a discounted voucher). Do they rotate in/out or have they been dropped and you can only redeem them at face value on the YC website?

Sportsman’s warehouse vouchers. You can use multiple for a purchase. Right? Anyone confirm they have done this?
Sadly I see Instore only :-(

Question. We bank with FNB and our Vitality status is gold. The 50% back on healthy food vitality items at Woolies was great. This has now gone down to 25% based on our vitality level only. I've seen it advertised that we can potentially get this % higher if we bank with discovery. Does anyone know what types of hurdles one would have to jump through with discovery bank to increase our current healthy food benefit of 25% back to 50%?? Ideally I would prefer not to move salary bank accounts (Ebucks working wonders on fuel etc) so thinking of a discovery credit card but cant seem to find any info if this will be sufficient to influence our healthy food benefit and increase it. Any advice please?

Yes you need spend money to get that extra 25%, on black is about 25k to 30k spend on the card. On gold the requirement is lower. You also need gold or diamond on money status, which is based on retirement and savings and insurance stuff.

We are on 45% (gold full suite) and we are on diamond status, spend just under 10 k a month on the Discovery card. Like GTX Gaming said there’s quite a few factors that will influence it.
