I have visited both the ones at Cape Town and OR Tambo and I have felt disappointed (when compared to Slow Lounge). I'm guessing it would be ditto at King Shaka.Any thoughts on the Lounge benefits? I've got a domestic trip coming up and usually use the Slow Lounge at King Shaka and OR Tambo. But this year, seeing as I'm with DiscoveryBank, I thought I'd try the SAA lounge. Has anyone visited either recently and what are your thoughts? Which is better?

I do think Slow gets very busy. OK, so The Lounge for ORT it is then. Thanks. I suppose at King Shaka, it makes little difference. At OR Tambo, I prefer the Lounge to SLOW lounge. Greater variety of food, less crowded and better coffee. Although no-one in my family agrees with me on this.
They have extended their unlimited lounge visits so it's free to try(check your app first) I think it's for platinum and upAny thoughts on the Lounge benefits? Some unsolicited information for y'all.
Same flights. 2 banks.
50% off on Discovery and 40% off eBucks.
Full price differences are rather interesting.
Actually percentages coming off are also interesting.View attachment 1469887View attachment 1469889
50% off on Discovery. The most I can get for local flights is 60% off since I only have a black credit card and not the bundle. Are you getting 50% off or 75%?

I seem to recall that as your fitness device auto changes to the new timezone, the steps/runs are uploaded with that as the timestamp. Seeing discovery allows a few days to upload stats, you should then be covered for your weekly total. How do the active rewards work when travelling to different time zones? Do the daily targets adjust to your new timezone, or do they still work on SA time zones?
You are correct. The fitness device will update to the new timezone but Discovery will continue to calculate points in ZA time.I seem to recall that as your fitness device auto changes to the new timezone, the steps/runs are uploaded with that as the timestamp.
