Discovery Vitality 2024

I will shortly move on my 'own' Discovery plan from being a part of my employer's group as I am being retrenched but will join my wife's plan from the 1st January 2025. Does anyone know how the Vitality Status would work with me joining my wife's plan? She is currently on Gold with our two sons who are under 5, I am on Silver but can more than likely easily get to Diamond. How would we start next year, her on Gold and me on Blue as I am a new dependant?
 
Anyone been caught from doing double exercises or wearing 2 watches type of thing?

Only the highest points from all activities in a day will be counted. I always run with two watches, and only one gets counted.

It is for this reason that I refuse to put my wife on Vitality. She will be a drag on my points and I'm not doing stuff like that just to appease the Vitality gods.

Wife is my dependent so we have to do Vitality together. Not a problem for us, wifey is fit.

Mine is just tired all the time. Trying to take her out for "walkies", but alas.

Thankfully I was able to link mine to my group Life policy.

With the Nike benefit would I be correct in assuming that it does not lock one into Totalsports or Sportsmans once one has generated the voucher?

However for the Sports gear benefit it likely does lock one in to one's chosen partner? I can't seem to find what I chose last, they don't make it easy to tell anymore, I can't find it anywhere on the website.

edit: OK for the Nike benefit they let you choose what store to use it at 2 screens later.

Does anyone know the difference between gameboard and instant rewards and how you get one or the other.

I seem to have 3 instant rewards but no Gameboard plays for completing goals. Been a while since I've used vitality and this seems to be one of the new mysteries to me

If you've completed last week's goals, as indicated by the number of current instant rewards, then your gameboard will appear tomorrow. It appears on Wednesdays.

I get more value for money with the gameboard, as the amount of Miles that I can earn vary.

Here are my instant rewards. It compares poorly i.m.o.

Ah, so you can either wait for Wednesday or choose an instant reward?

I also assume plays not taken automatically revert to instant rewards?

The bolded part is correct, so you first get your instant rewards, then, if you don't use them by Wednesday they become plays on the gameboard.
