Discovery Vitality 2024

Eish, currently on 47000 points with 3000 left to reach Diamond...

Screenings, health checks all done?
I another Health Check end December as my weight was an issue in September. Hoping to score well there.
I have yet to do the Dental check but will still be 2000 off and no way in hell am I doing the Colonoscopy....

Aah, OK. Good luck to you. I'm a thin(ish) oke, do vigorous exercise most days in the week, I gym and yet hyperlipidemia and hypertension causes my vitality age to be 16 years higher than my real age as per my last assessment.

As I understand it, the Vitality status matters little from 2024 onwards since everyone gets a flat rate of 10% off flights, upped to 25% if a health check is done. The only way it does matter is if you're an Invest or Life Insurance client.

On top of that, the only way to then increase your flight discount is by being a Bank client. Of course, there's only one way to access your flight discounts: you have to be a Bank client to "access" Vitality Travel. This, says Discovery, is easy enough because all you have to do is sign up for a zero-free Discovery account with Bank. But there's not much point to signing up for that account because, as I understand it, even if you want to use your flight discount through Vitality Travel, you can only pay for a flight using some kind of Discovery credit card.

In short, to use your flight discount, you have to be a Bank client. And for this reason alone, Discovery can get f*cked.

I hear you and agree to a point however, in my case, that flight discount helps me to visit my wife every second month so I have to get maximum discount to see her often.

I'm certainly not keen on having Discovery access any more of my details than absolutely necessary, particularly my credit record for a zero-fee account. Why do they need that information? I'm not applying for a credit card?

But I'm glad it works for you!

Quick question, how does Vitality for kids work. Pay for it but doesn't seem to be any actual way for kids to get points :/

The game board is so fixed its stupid. 3 weeks 9 plays all 150.
go look on discovery bank at the miles you earn each month. Its nearly identical for me over a 12 month period for the game board.

Anything changed with regards to the Garmin benefits ?

Does anyone know how to deal with negative Discovery Insure's Vitalitydrive points arising from testing of the brakes by a mechanic? I logged in my car for brake systems repair, and because the mechanic tested the brakes, now it shows harsh braking with points deducted.
