Discovery Vitality 2025

Hi guys,
With eBucks becomming even more useless and Checkers divorcing FNB, I'm considering the switch to Discovery.
Is there a thread here/somewhere that I can see all the costs, what's required to make it worthwhile etc?
It's a bit complicated as the answer is "it depends". Particularly, it depends on what you're hoping to get out of it and what you currently have with Discovery. IMO, if you already have multiple Discovery products (mainly Health and Bank), Vitality (including Vitality money) is worth it - I get back roughly R1,500 - R2,000 a month in miles before the extra savings on D Day and the flight and gym benefit. This more than pays for my Vitality and Banking fees (probably about R500 a month). But again, if I didn't have Health and Bank, it probably wouldn't be worth it.

Thanks for this

Doesn't seem the app is syncing with Samsung Health other than. The steps to upload my workouts. I need to have it captured manually. They are aware of the problem, but no idea when it will be working again.

Sad panda
Worked for a week and now it doesn't sync again.

anyone have an issue when buying a coffee voucher as an example and then it works for the first one and then second one fails and it wants to call the call centre and short story is you end up using 5 x 300 voucher points if you constantly try and you only pick this up 10min later.

Discovery seems to have changed the Kuaui link on wraps. Some wraps no longer apply - seems to be all the steak ones aren't supported anymore.

Oh and it's R89 not R76, but whatever.

Anyone have a link to whats changed?

Are we allowed to trade-in or sell an Apple Watch that is still under the 24 months device benefit period?

yes, but you'll still be liable for the monthly payments if you don't meet your goals. also, chatgpt.

Many people get the watch and sell it immediately for the cash you are just need to reach your goals for 24 months to avoid the payments. Wish they also did this with Garmin watches

Attempting to book 2D tickets for a Saturday afternoon at Ster-kinekor, getting this error below when trying to apply my Vitality SK number, but yet when I apply the nephew's Kids Vitality number then that works.

I tried 3 different adult Vitality SK numbers and all 3 gave the same error message, what gives?

edit: Seems that's it's an SK website issue, it expects the Vitality membership numbers to be entered in a specific order or else no dice.

Is this forum thread still active?
Yeah. But vitality is very personal due to the variation depending on your exact product mix etc. etc. and tiers across products so I always find it’s hard to ask for or give advice here.

If you need help with low blood pressure you can always try installing Personal Health Pathways and then seek some therapy afterwards in the thread created for that :p
This Discovery's cooler weather requires just a gin and tonic to elevate the BP. Or a reminder of when their debit order will go through.

I always wondered if there was any actual benefit to being Diamond instead of Gold. Today, I found one small perk. They give you international data if you book a flight with them (which is quite a good idea), and Diamond gets 500MB more.

What banking Disco banking account are you using? and is it transactional, credit card, or suite?

Has anyone been paid out their healthcare miles with Dischem for this month ...seems with Dischem changing their rewards system the healthcare benefit has disappeared?
