Because it is a daily activity, not a workout. There is standardised formats to share workouts, but not daily activities. For step counting you better off with something that sync that directly to Vitality, like the fitbit devices ect.
Been experimenting the past week. I seem to have confused them a bit as last weeks goal is "pending"I did notice that both devices are pretty much spot on and only differ by a few steps.

The guy doesn't seem South African so not sure if his advice is correct.
So will the tomtom at least be able to sync treadmill runs through myf or strava to vitality?
Got a discovery app update on android last night and now I can't log in. Website login works fine. Anyone else?
Makro probably won't be carrying these devices for ever, so maybe buy a few extra? Hmm...
