Disney+ and Afrihost / Vuma

Hi,

Anyone having issues logging into Disney+
Tried logging in a few times and all I get is a black screen.

I called Disney and the lady asked if I am on Afrihost with Vuma (which I am). She says there is any issue with Afrihost and Vuma. They said there is an Adblock and vpn error.

We are aware of the issue. We are not blocking anything or have any issue on our Network.

DSTV/Multichoice and Disney's security vendor https://www.geocomply.com/ decided to list a large amount of our IP space as abuse or vpn IP's which is causing the block.

Ironically these providers also don't support IPv6, so they mark our very limited v4 space as abuse due to NAT but don't support IPv6.
 
Also having this problem with Frogfoot + Afrihost in Cape Town. I hope it gets sorted soon.

@AfriNatic I know this is an old thread, but is this perhaps an issue again?

Just started getting “Looks like you’re connecting through a VPN or proxy service” from Disney+ and DSTV Now app tonight on all devices.

Using Afrihost fibre on Vumatel.
 
Also started having the same issue today. I'm on Afrihost (metrofibre backbone).

Hope this gets resolved soon. Otherwise will cancel. Guess point to Dstv...

They listed our entire 165.73.0.0/17 as a VPN. Getting tired of this "ip intelligence" company with their false positives.

I logged a ticket with them to remove that range asap.

Please send Afrigirl and myself a pm with your email address. I can't see any issues right now and it looks like our ranges are not blocked.

We are having issue with Afrihost on our TV. None of our Apps are working..it seems there is a block. What can we do?
