Do you?

Handgun, rifle, pistol, airgun or a selection. More importantly do you always have it with you and how proficient are you at handling it?

Would this man be in ICU if he was armed?

@Glock26 @marine1 @HunterNW this one's for you :) let's have a list of your arsenal.

Saw that vid a while back. If he was going to try disarming him it should have been earlier when he was a lot closer instead of obviously following him like that.
Not that it would have made much difference though given the age difference. The hijacker looked rather nervous and twitchy. Perhaps the old thought he could talk him down. Hope the old man recovers and the perp is caught and lynched.

Yip and nope. I only carry when traveling. (Not to work).

Would that man be in ICU if he was armed ? Well, depends.... That scenario can be played in a couple of ways.

CZ 75 9mm and busy licencing my hunting rifle which was given to me 308.

I don't but the wife does... Figured that when attacked they usually kill or eliminate the male first therefor it would be useless if I had the gun.
She has it with her 90% of the time. Glock 26.

Nope.

I'm not big on accessories. Don't wear a watch or jewellery and carrying gun everywhere just seems like a big accessory thats always going to be problematic.

I would like one in a shît situation though, but that's rare, I've been lucky and took caution to avoid crime and such situations.

I don't see the point in having a self defence gun permanently locked in a safe.

As for hunting, meh. Friends and family hunt. I just eat the biltong.

during military service, had a IMI Galil, called the R4 locally,
wasn't that great at shooting anything. recoil was quite something.

otherwise would love a small glock, to surprise anybody who tries something.
